Sheldon Named Chief Development Officer
The Rev. R. Scott Sheldon, an accomplished church leader and a strong advocate for the support of theological education, has been named Hartford Seminary’s new Chief Development Officer, starting April 1.


Kim Named to Faculty Of Hartford Seminary

The Board of Trustees and President Heidi Hadsell have named Uriah Kim to the faculty at Hartford Seminary. 
Kim will be Professor of Hebrew Bible, and join the Seminary’s Center for Faith in Practice. He will start teaching in the fall.


Dean Markham recently gave The Teape Lecture

Dean Ian Markham recently returned from India where he presented the prestigious Teape Lectureship.

The Teape Lectures were endowed by the Reverend W.M. Teape in order to promote dialogue between Christianity and Hinduism.  They have been in existence for over forty years and are normally delivered in alternate years in Britain and India.  Past lectures have included Professor J.H. Hick, Bishop J.A. Robinson, Professor Ninian Smart, and the Most Reverend Robert Runice.
